Housing over 100 aircraft — as well as engines, models, artifacts, photographs and paintings — the Southern Museum of Flight is one of the Southeast’s largest aviation museums. Exhibits include experimental, military and civilian aircraft — and memorabilia from the earliest days of powered flight. Also home to the Alabama Aviation Hall of Fame, with nearly 80 biographical plaques honoring our state’s aviation history.
